This easy crochet scarf pattern is perfect whether you keep your makes, gift or donate them. The texture of the stitch combination used lends itself to men or women.
It is the perfect scrap busting project!
This pattern also makes a great mindless WIP pattern and will help you tame those overflowing scrap buckets.
Once completed, this scarf is lovely and warm. It is perfect for the colder temperatures and will look great on one colour or several.
Each section only requires enough yarn for at least 3 rows from your scrap bucket for each section. So whether you can get 3 rows or 33 out of your scrap balls it doesn’t matter!
Gauge is not important but depends on yarn weight used and hook size! Make this one with scraps of anything!
You can find out more about this pattern in my blog post here.
At Sunflower Cottage Crochet, I hire experienced crochet artisans to test my patterns for accuracy and readability. My crochet pattern will teach you how to create the pefect gift for any occasion.
❤ SKILL LEVEL:
This is an easy crochet scarf pattern that is suitable for beginners. As long as you know how to crochet the basic stitches of chains to start, single crochet and half double crochet (US terms) you are good to go!
❤ LAYOUT:
My patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them. These stitches often come with an accompanying video for further clarification.
❤ SIZE:
You can use any yarn weight for this one and appropriate sized hook, as long as you use the same yarn weight throughout! I used #4 weight yarn and a 5mm hook. My scarf was 9″ wide by 45″ long. Want extra length? Just keep adding sections! Want to change the width? The stitch multiple is included in the pattern!
❤ MATERIALS:
Enough scrap yarn to make a scarf – it looks great using scraps of different colours!
For my grey version I used scraps of Paintbox simply aran from a previous C2C project.

Stitch markers (optional)
