The 2021 Unity CAL was created by 10 Australian designers and was sponsored by the Australian Crochet Community and KoKonki - Motki Ombre. The CAL has finished now, but there is a remix and extension.

These Remix block patterns are different. They are stand-alone squares written up by each designer, whereas the original pattern contains the rounds of a single blanket and written up by the Project Manager (to maintain consistency of writing style for a CAL run).

Unity CAL remixes can be made by using:

• the released parts in a different order.
• blocks of the different parts to make a block afghan.
• blocks or parts to make different products altogether. Extensions are continuing on after part 9 with existing parts.

Gauge depends on the yarn and hook you decide to use. A fine yarn and small hook will give a much smaller result than a thick yarn and large hook.
