Unsquared Hat
Enjoy a 10% introductory offer, when purchasing my new pattern by 3/31/2019, 11.59 pm EST. No coupon code needed.
Unsquared Hat is named after my favorite Jazz song, Unsquared Dance by Dave Brubeck. The irregular and not so square purl and knit rib pattern reminded me of this song.
This pattern works great with high or low contrast yarns.
The yarn will be enough to work the hat and Unsquared Sleeves.

26 stitches and 44 rows = 4 in (10 cm) on larger needles in unsquared pattern after blocking.
30 stitches and 40 rows = 4 in (10 cm) on smaller needles in rib pattern after blocking.
Construction Notes
The hat starts with a stretchy rib pattern on smaller needles, and then is worked in the unsquared pattern on larger needles. The pattern is stretchy and the larger needles create a slouchy hat. For a more fitted version, use one needle size smaller.
Pattern comes with written and charted directions.
