This lace knitting pattern makes a wonderfully luxurious cowl. It’s a great introduction to lace knitting, and comes with both a chart and written instructions so you learn to read a simple chart. The cowl itself is knit from a merino/silk blend, which can be substituted for any DK weight yarn. It’s knit in the round on either circular needles or DPNs.

I made one of these cowls for myself years ago and it’s become a staple of my spring and fall wardrobes. It looks lovely in yarn that has some sheen to it, and makes a great quick knit for gifts (or to treat yourself!).

If you have any questions as you’re making the cowl, I’m always available to help! There’s contact information at the bottom of the pattern. Also, you can use the pattern to sell finished objects - please just credit me in your online listings.
