Gauge is not essential. You can use any worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Supersaver Yarn for the color and used apx 1 1/2 skeins. I used US size 6 knitting needles. Poly-fil is required

Pattern is knitted flat using just knit and purl stitches and short row technique. Some seaming is required. The pattern will be easier to complete if you have two sets of needles of your size choice.

Two white and two black buttons are also needed for eyes.
