Upside Down Half Finger Gloves
If you have not tried making anything other than a hat or a scarf before on your Knifty Knitter Looms and you want to try something easy but looks like you slaved on it for hours, then this is for you.
The only things you need to know how to do for these gloves are the basic ewrap stitch, moving stitches from one peg to another, cast on and cast off.
I wrote this pattern for my 11 year old daughter Angelica for two reasons: she wanted to make something that looks “clever” and that she will wear, and because all the other patterns out there are too large for her dainty little hands and fingers. I feel fairly confident that she can follow this pattern and make up these simple gloves herself adding embellishments or ribbons to decorate at the end to give her own stamp on the design.
I have used some Sirdar Tropicana Cotton Effect yarn from my stash to test this pattern out but any DK or slightly chunkier yarn will do. Use two strands as one.
Enjoy :)
