Knitted in wavy ribbing stitch, the Upstream sweater is designed with long raglan sleeves and a high ribbed neck. Knitted in the round from the top down, the pattern starts with the 2 x 2 rib neck and then changes to wavy ribbing stitch. Short rows are worked at the bottom of the neck to add shaping. Increases are made at the four raglan points until the armholes are reached. The stitches are then divided into the body and two sleeves and worked separately in the round, changing to 2 x 2 rib when reaching the hem and cuff.
