The Upsy Daisy Poncho is one of my personal favorites and has been a long time hit boutique seller.

Pink and brown is also one of my favorite color combos, but be creative and choose your own.

This one look best when a contrast color is used for the motif center.

I used a #3 Crochet Thread. You could also substitute 2 #10 Strands of crochet thread. If you go with a larger yarn, such as a sport weight, be sure to adjust your guage because the size of the neckline will increase significantly.
