GAUGE: 24 sts and 36 rows to 4 inches / 10 cm in stocking stitch, blocked. Suggested size 3.75mm.

SIZING: 1 (2; 3; 4; 5) (6; 7; 8; 9) detailed below, designed to be worn with between 3-5” / 7-12 cm negative ease. Sample shown is a size 2 worn on a 34” bust with around 4” / 10 cm negative ease. If you are between sizes, SIZE DOWN.

To fit bust: 28-30 (32-34; 36-38; 40-42; 44-46) (48-50; 52-54; 56-58; 60-62) inches / 71-76 (81-86; 91-97; 102-107; 112-117) (122-127; 132-137; 142-147; 152-157) cm.

Construction: the Upwards Top is worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins with working an i-cord for the front neckline. Then you will pick up stitches from the side of the i-cord and continue to work the front in flat stocking stitch. After increasing gradually until the underarm, front stitches are set aside to work the back (initially in two separate pieces, then joined together after the keyhole). Back and front pieces are then joined to work in the round down to the hem. Armhole and keyhole edgings are worked using an applied i-cord for decoration and stability.

The Upwards Top is #sizeinclusive to a bust of 62”.
