UraUe DK is a pattern I created in collaboration with Cast On yarn shop.
https://caston-yarnshop.com

UraUe DK is a DK weight version of UraUe and is a relaxed-fit vest worked seamlessly from the top down.
It combines Half Fisherman’s rib and Stockinette stitch and can be reversed. The neckline is shaped with German short rows and stitches are increased to shoulder width. The front and back yokes are then worked separately to underarm during which the back armhole is made longer than the front. They are joined again and the body is worked in the round with side faux seams to the stepped hem. The front and back hems are worked flat separately. It can be worn like a turtleneck vest with the optional cowl.
The pattern instructions are written, not charted.

Please note: Pattern on this page is for UraUe DK.

For vest: 5 (5, 6, 6)(7, 7, 8)(8, 8, 9) skeins, approx. 640 (710, 780, 850)(920, 1000, 1100)(1170, 1200, 1250) m [700 (776, 853, 930)(1006, 1094, 1203)(1280, 1312, 1367) yds]
Please note that yardage is estimated and can vary depending on your yarn, gauge, modifications, etc.
For sizes XS, M, and XL, the yardage shown will be plenty. However, with the correct gauge and no modification to the pattern, it is likely that you will be able to knit the vest with one less skein than the yardage above (you may have to unravel the swatches).
For both vest and cowl: 6 (6, 7, 7)(8, 8, 9)(9, 10, 10) skeins, approx. 820 (880, 950, 1030)(1100, 1180, 1270)(1340, 1380, 1430) m [897 (962, 1039, 1126)(1203, 1290, 1389)(1465, 1509, 1564) yds]
