Uses two colours of 4ply fingering weight merino or wool blend yarn, approx 130 yards of each. Suggest to make this in animal fibre as it has better “memory” and will keep its shape better.

You will need a 2.5mm circular needle on a 40cm cable, and a longer cable for magic loop or DPNs in the same size to work the crown shaping. Some stitch markers and a blunt tapestry needle will also be required.

Sized to fit teens to adults; brioche is a very stretchy fabric and should adjust easily and comfortably to all head shapes. The slouchy nature of the style means it will never be too short, and any extra length will drape gently at the back for that chic urban look.
