Urban Cape
Salt Lake City, near the shores of the Great Salt Lake is an urban environment of steel, stone, concrete, and glass. Its geometric lines and man-made structures are in sharp contrast to the organic profile of the Wasatch Front. Dwarfed by the mountains, the skyline still shines bright and beautiful among the breath-taking views of the valley. The Urban Cape echoes the concrete and steel materials of the city in tension with the soft and draping fabric.
The cape is knit with doubled Super Bulky Yarn on size 19 needles. An unattached pocket (purse) is also included in the pattern.
