This pattern can be amend to any size yarn. You will just increase the row count if using small weight yarn. The goal being you would use most of the hank of yarn for each colorway.

Using Jorstad creeks yarns for this shawl, I felt the size was a bit small. Once blocked though I was very happy. It blocked out exactly the size I wanted.
