Within the cobbled pavements of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, lies the granite mosaic known as the ‘Heart of Midlothian’. As the theme for the 2016 Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl, this mosaic has inspired this heart –shaped shawl, combining delicate lace motifs with garter stitch detailing.
