Urbs
I design Urbs to be a cool addition to your wardrobe, with that laid-back vibe that we all love. The result is a total no-brainer accessory that can easily be paired with everything else in your winter closet.
The lateral braid adds a little something unexpected, and the crossing cables are shaped as delicate vines climbing your hat. All stitches are explained with photo tutorials, charts and written instructions, making everything easier for knitters of every level.
Worked in Aran weight yarn, this is a fast project that will keep you warm and cozy during winter.
CONSTRUCTION
Urbs is worked in the round from brim to crown. The ribbing is finished with a lateral braid, also known as a Vikkel or Estonian braid. The stitch is a decorative “braid” that runs horizontally along the surface of the fabric. The hat feature a delicate slip stitch pattern and a cute pompom. The pattern includes complete written instructions, charts for the stitch pattern and a photo tutorial for the lateral braid.
