Before I could even walk, my parents were always taking me out on the boat to share their love of fishing, diving, and marine life with me. I can remember countless hours swimming with sharks, looking for lobster, learning how to bait hooks, and experiencing a whole new world underneath the water. I haven’t seen my mom and dad for nearly two years, which is the longest we have ever spent apart, and I miss them more and more with each passing day. We have an entire ocean between us now, the same ocean that brought us together when I was young. Every time I go to the seaside here, to watch the waves brush the shore and smell the salt in the air, I feel so much closer to them because of the memories they gave me when I was growing up.

This hat has a really unique pattern that is a bit of a challenge, but also very fun. It can be customized with any combination of one, two, or three colors to make it truly and uniquely your own. The crown has been shaped in a way that adding a pom on top is optional, as well. I have also included multiple needle options to help loose knitters and tight knitters alike find the right gauge.
