This pattern is a tapestry crochet in the round. The hat starts from bottom to top.

You will need black, midnight blue, light grey, white, purple, and a little of red and yellow worsted weight yarn. A 5.00mm hook is used for a fitted beanie or you could make it a slouchy beanie with a 6.00mm hook.
