This pattern details workings for reusable facepads along with a washbag in which the facepads can be stored and also washed to help make sure they do not get lost in the washing machine!

The pattern uses 100% cotton yarn. Paintbox is detailed as the yarn used in writing the pattern however testing has shown other 100% cotton yarns are also suitable. Merchandised cotton has not been tried with this pattern.

Gauge is unimportant, it’s more important the facepads are of a size you wish to use and the washbag is able to contain the facepads for washing purposes. Additional rounds can be added to the facepads if you wish them to be bigger. Add the same amount of rounds to the base of the washbag to ensure they fit inside.

I’ve found 50g of cotton yarn can make a minimum of two full sets of one washbag and 5 facepads. You can use whatever colours you wish!
