Inspired by the book Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke, this beautiful, slightly slouchy hat combines classic cables with distinctly non-traditional elements. Cables weave their way over practically every inch of it, in the way that in the book the magic of John Uskglass influences everything that happens, and the crown of the hat culminates in a pattern resembling an asterisk, in honour of the book’s many meandering footnotes.

Both charts and full written instructions are included.
