Usnea Reversible Scarf
Usnea is an easy-to-knit, reversible scarf knitted holding one strand of mohair and one strand of wool yarn together. Both sides of the scarf are equally interesting in texture.
I named this pattern Usnea because the texture of the scarf reminded me of the beautiful and fragile usnea lichens in forests, where they are indicator species for clean air.
For the subtle halo effect, I recommend selecting two yarns that are equal in darkness/lightness and quite different in color.
