Utensil Pouch Loom Knit
Very detailed instructions including pictures to loom knit a utensil pouch. Use it to transport silverware to school or work as an eco-friendly alternative to single use plastic. The pouch will keep your silverware from touching anything else in your bag/purse/lunchbox. Used silverware can go back in the pouch, and they can be washed in the washing machine and air-dried to use over and over. They will last a long time with regular use and care.
The pattern is written for a 12 peg large gauge loom using Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Scrub It #5 bulky weight yarn. This can be found at Hobby Lobby. Other #5 yarn can be substituted.
At the end of the detailed instructions is a shortened set of instructions for either style to refer to once you are familiar with the details.
This pattern is for any loomer who knows the basics. Casting on, U-wrap knit, purl and binding off are the only skills necessary. No confusing abbreviations are used and no special pattern knowledge is needed.
