What can please a knitter more than painting with yarns?! Here’s a pattern that will allow you to combine a couple of your favourite handpainted or semisolid yarns. Paint some stripes, paint some lace, paint yourself a lovely shawl.

Voie de Vie Yarn Tweedie Too (Fingering; 85% merino wool, 15% other; 438 yd 401 m/31/2 oz 100 g): 1 skein each in Grunge Factor (MC) and Creamsicle (CC)

Needles
US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles; the project is knit flat but circular needles are used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

22 sts and 27 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stripe pattern after blocking
To save time and to ensure accurate sizing, check gauge. Gauge is not critical for this project but a change in gauge will result in different finished measurements and yarn requirement.
