DESCRIPTION: A pair of Finnish folklore-inspired texture-rich fingerless mitts. Perfect for a quick stash-busting project.

I used small amounts of Stylecraft Special DK:
Colourway 1: Walnut, Mocha, Grey, Silver, Parchment.
Colourway 2:Teal, Sage, Meadow, Lincoln, Parchment.

My love for vintage style, retro, folksy, cottage-core themes is once again the inspiration motivating this pair of deeply textured and decorative warm winter wearables. This pattern can be easily adapted to make a Beanie, cellphone cover, bag, cushion cover or cowl.

TERMS: US

SKILL LEVEL: Adventurous beginner to Intermediate.

HOOK SIZE: 4.00mm/4.5mm ( US 6/7 ).

GAUGE: Front Measurement. Medium tension (10cm x 9cm =16st x 17rnds/4”x 3-1/2” =16st x 17rnds).

STITCHES: slst, ch, hdc, fpsts. The double crochet foundation st is demonstrated in the first video. Some experience with mosaic crochet technique but not essential as there is a video tutorial.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
L =(19cm/7-1/2”)
W =(across knuckles: 10cm/4”)
W =(across wrist: 9cm/3-1/2”)
Forearm circumference =(20cm/8”)
