Uwila
This is a top-down crescent shawl that features a sweet little parliamentary of cabled owls perched on the bottom edge. Block it gently for a warm winter shawl, or block it even more open for a light and lacy spring/summer accessory.
Gauge is not essential to this pattern. Change the size by using a smaller/larger hook/yarn, OR also included in the pattern are instructions for making it smaller/larger by doing fewer/more rows of the main body.
Pattern as written calls for 900 yds of fingering/2 weight yarn. Sample 1 uses 2 skeins of Knit Picks Stroll Tonal Handpainted in Pearlescent. Sample 2 uses 2 skeins of Loops and Threads Woolike in White.
F/3.75mm hook needed.
Please be familiar with the ghost-stitch technique of making cables to get the pictured results. A free tutorial is on my ravelry page at
