Make yourself an Uzi Doorman doll! And if you’re a creative type, you can also feel free to use this pattern as a starting point to make other characters! This is a MODERATE to ADVANCED difficulty pattern. It assumes you know how to crochet and are familiar with a number of standard techniques. Some parts may require a bit of trial and error, which stresses people out for some reason. Don’t give up! Crochet is awesome because it is so forgiving. There are lots of pictures and some video links for additional clarity, as well as tips to help you along the way!

Materials and Supplies
• Worsted weight yarn in black, white, dark gray, light gray, dark purple, and light purple
o I used Caron Simply Soft, which is a bit on the thinner “worsted” side and you need less than a skein (170g/6oz/288m/315yd) of each
• Size F crochet hook – or whatever size for your desired yarn if you change your yarn weight
• Yarn needle
• Pins (optional, but recommended for positioning the parts before attaching – I use bobby pins)
• Stitch marker (optional for marking the beginning/end of continuous rnds)
• Your favorite stuffing material
• 2” pom-pom maker (2.5” would also be fine, I think, if you want a little larger)
• OPTIONAL: additional weighted stuffing material for the bottom to help the doll sit because her head is big

Abbreviations/Skills Needed
• Ch: chain
• Sc: single crochet
• Sl: slip stitch
• Inc: increase
• Dec: decrease (use invisible decreases by working in the front loops of the dec stitches)
• St/sts: stitch/stitches
• Rnd/rnds: round/rounds
• FLO: front loops only
• BLO: back loops only
You need to be familiar with joining and changing colors while working flat and in the round, as well as generally working flat and in the round with both joined and continuous rounds.
Whip stitch/running stitch can be used to join the pieces. You can use whichever you prefer. What I use depends on the piece.
I crocheted Uzi’s eyes, but you can also felt them, if you prefer. I did not include instructions for felting because I don’t particularly like to do it, so I didn’t.
Note: Uzi’s jacket decal is embroidered, and some people find this difficult. You can feel free to leave off this detail. I assure you, it will be ok. Patterns are just suggestions. Do not panic.
Gauge: approx. 4 sts/in and 4 rows/in. but gauge is not all that important unless you really need a particular size for some reason. To resize slightly, I recommend changing needles and/or yarn.
Finished Uzi as patterned measures about 30” tall. She’s pretty big.
