Uzu (Japanese 渦) refers to the spiral shape of the motifs that come together in groups of six to form each medallion. Connect any number of medallions for the desired length, from a doily to a table runner.

Materials

Yarn: Fingering weight, preferably cotton, or cotton thread size 10 held double. Approximately 300 yd for main color and 50 yd for border color for five medallions. Pictured in below:
