This pattern is available from kulabradesign.com for $6.00.

Perfectly double-sided, three-dimensional, multicolored (if desired) ribbing pattern for a scarf or wrap. It is all worked with simple increases and decreases only, and it is memorizable after a few rows! The knitted fabric folds in all directions and looks exactly the same on both sides.
Materials. This pattern requires 3.5mm needles and some fingering-weight yarn that holds the ribbing well. The ideal yarn for it is standard sock yarn, with 75% wool/ 25% nylon. I can recommend three brands just off the top of my head: Opal, Regia, and WYS, but there are many more great brands available on the market that would work. Avoid yarn that is too sleek and silky (even some sock yarns!), also don’t use yarn that blocks flat - you won’t get the 3-d effect with those at all. You can use just selfstriping throughout, or knit it in multicolored stripes, or even knit it with just one solid or gradient color - it will still show the 3-d texture beautifully.

Gauge: 1 full repeat, measured unstretched, is approx 8 x 8 cm.
Size: can be knit any size. With 2 repeats it’s 20cm wide unstretched.
