Oversized pullover with v-neck and slouchy bishop/balloon sleeves.
Knit flat in pieces, bottom up. Neckband is picked up and knit flat, then seamed at back neck.

The body incorporates a simple slipped stitch pattern while the sleeves, welt and neckband are in 2x2 twisted rib. The ribbed pattern of the sleeves is interrupted by bands of garter stitch knit on smaller needles.

The welt is fitted around the lower waist/upper hips; several increases are made in the first pattern row to create positive ease through the body, allowing it to blouse over the welt. Sleeves are fitted around the wrist with increases after every garter stitch band to achieve maximum width at mid-sleeve; decreases are made similarly toward the top of the sleeve.
