V neck slouchy jumper
This slouchy top-down jumper is made in a lightweight DK yarn, giving it plenty of drape. With an oversized fit and seamless construction, it’s great for snuggling in on those lazy winter days. It can be worn off the shoulder or not, tucked in or loose, making it super versatile.
The V neck slouchy jumper uses a very lightweight DK yarn with a tension (gauge) of 5 groups to 10cm/4in. It is available in both UK and US crochet terms. It has step photos, charts, diagrams and a schematic. It is intermediate level, and will require some concentration for the yoke section. There are some technique tutorials linked in the pattern.
It is worked from the top down, in a raglan style. Because of the deep V neck it is worked back and forth at the start, then worked in the round. The body and sleeve length can be easily modified by adding or removing rows as you go. There is no sewing involved.
There is 19-21cm (7 ½ -8 ¼ ’’) positive ease depending on size. For yarn quantities and sizing please see photos.
