V-Neck Tank Top in Summer Yarn

This classic tank is knit in the round from the bottom up and then divided at the armholes and knit flat. The symmetrical V neckline is created through simple decreases and is featured on both the front and back of the tank. With such a simple construction (and no sleeves to worry about!) this is a fantastic beginner garment project.

NOTE: If you have size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 20” (50 cm) they will work with this pattern.

Gauge:

Stockinette: 9 stitches and 11 rows / 4” (10 cm)
