Measure of row: 8 rows equals 3 inches

Pattern repeat: multiples of 4+3 plus 5 for start chain.

Yarn needle
Scissors
Measuring tape

Abbreviations:

ch = chain Stitch
St = stitch
Sts = stitches
Sk= skip
Rep = repeat
Sl st= slip stitch
Sc = Single Crochet
Dc = Double Crochet

FPdc = Front Post Double Crochet (Yarn over (yo) and insert your hook from front to back between the posts of the first and second double crochet of the row below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the second and third stitches) picture 13

V-st = V-stitch – 1dc, ch 1, 1 dc in same stitch picture 17

Dc2tog =Yarn over (YO) hook, insert hook in stitch(st) , pull up a loop, 3 loops on hook. YO hook, pull through 2 loops. YO hook insert in next st, pull up a loop, 4 loops on hook. YO, pull through 2 loops, 3 loops on hook. YO pull through last 3 loops. picture 14

Sc2tog = insert hook in first st Insert hook in next st, yarn over and pull up a loop, insert hook in next st, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook. picture 15
