East to pick up and put down - very relaxing - making this perfect for vacation time.

The other good thing is that it works well with variegated yarns - I can’t resist buying them, but find they can be tricky to find the right pattern for.

I included 2 different versions:

one is long and narrow and was designed for a single skein of fingering/sock weight (but can be knitted in other weights)
the other is deeper and was originally designed to use 2 skeins of DK.

NOTE that the pattern is charted only.
