The pattern “Vägvarda Socks” popped up in my mind, when we visited the oldest farm houses in the little village Örträsk in South Lappland / North Sweden. The flower motifs on the nicely painted walls reminded me of chicory flowers - called vägårda in Swedish.

This pattern is written in English and contains:
step for step written instructions
and two colorwork charts (leg and foot).

Sizes
Foot circumference: S-M approx. 20-21 cm, M-L approx. 22-23 cm
Foot and leg length: adjustable

The pattern is written for size M (2.25-2.5mm (US 1.0-1.5) needles).
but the size can easily be adjusted by the choice of the needle size.
