The focal point of this cozy cardigan is the wide shawl collar worked in a charted lace and cable pattern.
The top-down construction starts with the collar, then leads to picking up stitches for the back and sleeves. The body incorporates contiguous sleeve cap shaping.
To maintain the uninterrupted flow of the shawl collar, the bottom edge of the lace and cable pattern descends into chevron points.
