Valborg is a slightly neater mitten that is knitted in broken rib which gives the mitten a comfortable and elastic fit.
The mitten has an Indian thumb and gusset and the cuff is double to warm the wrist properly

You start to knit a Latvian braid in in one color, the border from a chart and another Latvian braid.
You turn your work outside in and knit the lining in rib and then you continue to knit the rest of the mitten in broken rib.

Sizes
Finished palm measurement ca: 16 cm but it is very stretchy

Yarn
You will need approx.
MC 70 gr 276 m
CC 20 gr 80 m

Gauge
30 st in broken rib pattern = 10 cm
26 st in stranded colorwork = 10 cm

In addition to yarn and knitting needles, you need one marker, stitch holder or extra yarn for the stitches from the gusset and a darning needle.
