The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 3.5mm hook will be approx. 21cm high & 15cm wide.
I use stylecraft special double knit for most of my applique patterns but any double knit yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important
It’s perfect on valentine gifts. It looks great on a card, box frame bag or cushion too.
