This pattern will show you how to make cute crocheted candies for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion. These work up quickly and make a great stashbuster.
I made mine using I Love This Cotton! Yarn and a size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook. I would also recommend using a stitch marker to keep your place and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends. You can either leave them flat or you can lightly stuff them with fiberfill stuffing for more of a 3D look.
Gauge isn’t crucial for this pattern. As written, mine are 1-3/4” across the center of the candies. But I tend to crochet tightly, so if you’re a looser crocheter, you’ll probably want to size down a hook or two unless you want your candies to be larger.
A simple variation for turning this pattern into an appliqué is also included.
You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page.
