The valentine cowl is a stranded colorwork pattern worked in the round with a full step-by-step video tutorial to go with it.

SIZING
3 Sizes: XS (S, M)
The XS is very snug, I would only recommend that size if you want a very snug cowl or for a childs size.

  • Circumference: 17.25 (20.75, 24.25) inches, {44 (52.5, 61.5) cm}.
  • Length: 8.25 inches, {21cm} for all sizes.

Note: Cast on more stitches in multiples of 16 to increase the circumference, and work additional repeats of the colorwork pattern to add length. These adjustments will affect the yardage.

YARN
Worsted/Medium (#4) weight:

  • MC: 100 (120, 135) yards, {91 (110, 123) meters}.
  • CC: 35 (40, 45) yards, {32 (37, 41) meters}.

Sample uses:
MC: I Love This Yarn (100% Acrylic - 355 yards {325 m}/198g} in Rosy Cheeks.
CC: Amigo XL (100% Acrylic - 109 yards {100 m}/50g in color 50.

Yardage is an estimate based on my sample, yours may vary if your gauge or cast on amount is different.

OTHER MATERIALS
