This headband was made using Piratenwolle’s sock yarn in color “Valentine” (75% wool, 25% polyamide). Because it’s hand dyed, this yarn isn’t always available. But there’s plenty of other gorgeous hand-dyed yarns to choose from on their Etsy shop!

This pattern uses 2 strands of light fingering yarn held together. You could substitute a single strand of worsted weight yarn.

When finishing the headband, I recommend using an icord seam. It compliments the slipped stitch border beautifully.
