This Valentine Heart shawl is worked as a string of motifs worked in 3 rows. The string of motifs are joined as you work the last row (or points of the hearts).

The pattern is easily customizable and formulas are given for extra small/teen, small, med and large. Gauge is for 41/2 inches= 2 heart motifs measured across the center, 41/2 inches is 2 rows of heart motifs.

Shawl is worked in Lion Brand Vanna’s Glamour, but any sport weight yarn would work. Ruby Red was used, but white or pink would also look lovely for Valentine’s Day!

Extra small/teen and small sizes use 3 skeins of yarn each and medium and large use 4 skeins each.
