There are 2 variations of facial hair for your gnomes in this pattern. The plaits can either be female pigtails or a male braided moustache.

This can be worked on a 46 or 48 pin circular knitting machine and a 22 pin circular knitting machine. You can use any brand machine, such as the Addi Express or Sentro. A icord machine is also helpful but not essential for this project.

You can use any yarn for this project. I have used some part balls left over from another project. Double knitting works well but any yarn should work.

Supplies:
● Yarn – Whichever brand/thickness you like
● Stuffing
● 4mm crochet hook
● A darning needle
● Scissors
● Pom pom maker or cardboard
