For this Valentines wreath I used stylecraft Aran yarn for the hat, beard, nose and wreath cover
Any Aran/medium 4 weight yarn will work for this pattern.
Dk/ 3 weight for the outer colour of the hearts for the beard.
I used Yarnart Jeans for the envelope
Any fine weight yarn Will work for this pattern.

Aran White (wreath cover and hearts) 100g
Aran Pink- fondant 100g
Aran Parchment for the nose 15g
Dk red for hearts and 3D heart on the tip of the hat- 15g
Dk grey for the hearts- 15g
Yarn art jeans white for the envelope 15g
Heart button for envelope (optional.)
Small amount of Toy stuffing for your gonks nose and heart.
20cm/8inches polystyrene wreath.
If you struggle to find an 8 inch wreath ring you can use a slightly bigger size.
You may need to work a few more increases for the hat but I will include instructions for that.

3.5mm

The finished Christmas Gonk wreath, will measure approximately
22inches/ 60cm in height.
10inches/28cm in width.
This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension.
I used a 20cm/8.5inches wreath ring but you could use a different sizes.
