Simple X and O cable up quick to knit fingerless gloves. It is written for a set of 4 double point needles. However, it has been tested for circular needles.

Will require a cable needle or cable needle free cabling skills and either waste yarn or a stitch holder. Any worsted weight yarn should work just fine.
