Valentine’s Polar Bear

It is a crochet pattern in PDF (1MB) containing 5 pages teaching how to make a Polar Bear, his shirt and his beanie, and a 3 pages (same pattern) in a “print friendly” way.

The pattern has pictures showing the process and it is written in US Terminology.

Size: around 23 cm/ 9”

Skill level: medium. It requires some experience in making Amigurumi as it has color changes and sewing parts.

Materials:

• Crochet hook 2.5 mm (the hook size can vary depending of the yarn you choose to use);
• Cotton Blend Plain yarn – DK by Knitcraft : colors White(140g), Hot Pink(20g), Red(20g) and Denim(40g);
• White acrylic yarn to make a pompom;
• Stitch marker (to mark the first stitch of the round);
• Scissors;
• 2 blue plastic safety eyes of 11 mm;
• Fiberfill;
• Tapestry needle;
• 3 buttons;
• Pins to hold the pieces in place before sewing;
• Pompom made with white acrylic yarn.

Head and Body (white):
Working in continuous rounds.

Rnd 1: 8 sc in a Mr 8 / or ch 2, sc x 8 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: inc x 8 16
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x 8 24
