Valentine's shawl
This pattern is made with an unusual crochet technique called corner to corner crochet, often referred to as C2C crochet. This is a technique that is, to be brief, a method of crochet usually used for quadrilateral shapes. I did not use the method in which you make a quadrilateral shape, as I wanted a triangle. The method is usually used to make blankets, so my pattern is rather unusual. The shawl is worked from bottom point to the tip, and is actually quite easy. I enjoyed making this shawl very much, and I hope you will too.
Happy Crocheting!
The size is 31” tip to top, and about 64” along the top edge.
The gauge is most accurately 3 tiles per 3 inches, but you don’t need to fret too much over gauge since the shawl is not a fitted design.
You will need:
5mm (US H-8) crochet hook
Red heart Super Saver Ombré; Color Anemone; 1 skein of 482 yds
Red Heart Super saver Solids; Color Black; 1 skein of 364 yds
Large-eyed tapestry needle
The yarn I used is a popular brand, so it should not be at all hard to find.
Have Fun!
