The pattern has been revised and was re-released in March 2016.

Valentino is an overall for a small child, knitted bottom-up and with a zipper in the front. It has no sleeves or feet. At the end of the pattern there is an image with measurements of the garment, making it possible to finish the garment even with another gauge. Instructions for making sleeves are included.

The sizes in cm and inches are the actual height of the child:
Size 70 cm/27.5 in is for a child of age 6 to 8 months.
Size 80 cm/31.5 in is for a child of age 12 to 16 months.
Size 90 cm/35.5 in is for a child of age 24 to 27 months.

Rohrspatz & Wollmeise Pure 100% Merino Superwash 525 m (574 yds) / 150 g.

Amount of different colours needed:
Size 70 cm: 140 g main color and 30 g contrast color.
Size 80 cm: 160 g main color and 35 g contrast color.
Size 90 cm: 245 g main color and 40 g contrast color.

Needles: 2.5 mm (US 1 1/2) or any to obtain the gauge. Use 3.5 mm (US 4) needles to cast on. You’ll need either a circular needle at least 80 cm long or DPN’s for the legs and armhole ribbing. You’ll need either a circular needle or long straight needles for the body.

Additional materials and tools needed: 30 cm (12 in) zipper for the smallest size, 35 cm (14 in) zipper for the medium size and a 40 cm (16 in) zipper for the largest size, Mouliné cotton thread, darning needle, two stitch markers, some waste yarn.

The colors used in the green overall are Petersilie (main color) and Neptun (contrast color). The colors of the pink overall are Tutu light (main color) and Okzident (contrast color).

Valentino on pienen lapsen hihaton haalari, jossa on edessä vetoketju. Koot ovat 70 cm, 80 cm ja 90 cm. Koko on lapsen pituus, valmiin haalarin mitat löytyvät ohjeen lopusta. Lopussa on myös ohjeet hihojen lisäämiseen.

Langan menekki:
70 cm: 140 g pääväriä ja 30 g kontrastiväriä.
80 cm: 160 g pääväriä ja 35 g kontrastiväriä.
90 cm: 245 g pääväriä ja 40 g kontrastiväriä.

Puikot: 2,5 mm tai muu, jolla saat oikean tiheyden. Silmukoiden luomiseen 3,5 mm. Lahkeisiin ja kädentien joustimeen tarvitaan joko sukkapuikot tai vähintään 80 cm pitkä pyöröpuikko. Vartaloon tarvitaan pyöröpuikko tai pitkät suorat puikot.

Muut tarvikkeet: Vetoketju (koko 70 cm: 30 cm pitkä vetoketju; koko 80 cm: 35 cm; koko 90 cm: 40 cm), muliinilankaa, parsinneula, kaksi silmukkamerkkiä ja noin metrin pätkä sileää lankaa apulangaksi.

Kuvan vihreässä haalarissa pääväri oli Petersilie ja kontrastiväri Neptun.
