Valhalla is a loose fitting cardigan that is knitted seamlessly in stockinette stitch from the top down. You can design and personalize your cardigan as you wish with celestial-themed embroideries that are included in the instructions.

DIFFICULTY
The pattern is for advanced beginners. All special techniques are explained step by step in pictures. Basic knowledge is nevertheless required.

SUPPORT
The pattern includes extensive support sections with photos and step-by-step tutorials. These are integrated into the instructions and are conveniently accessible via links at each specific point, as well as a QR code.

  • Anchor Metallic Embroidery by Anchor or any other embroidery yarn you want to use for that portion: Needed quantity depends on your personal plans. For the shown sample I’ve used about 225 m | 250 yards.

NEEDLES

  • Main Needles: circular needles 3 mm | US 2.5 | UK 11 in 40 cm | 16” & 60 cm | 24” or length that feels best
  • Depending on your gauge swatch: Needles For Double Knitting
  • Double Pointed Needles, if you prefer working with them on smaller circumferences

SUPPLIES

  • Stitch markers

  • Darning needle, sewing needle and pins
  • 6 | preferred number of buttons, 2 cm | 0.75” in width
  • Sewing thread in the colour of your knit to sew in buttons
