Valley Court Cowl
This simple cowl is knit flat in order to knit an integrated i-cord edge along the top & bottom of the finished cowl, or along the sides as you knit.
It’s knit with two colors of beautiful hand-dyed Madeline Tosh Farm Twist DK, and shows off the subtle variations so nicely.
The simple slip-stitch pattern is easy to remember, creates a squishy & flat fabric, and the i-cord edge lends an attractive finish.
The cowl finishes at 40” around (100cm), but the Farm Twist skeins are generous at about 125g, so you should have plenty left if you want to make it longer. As it is, it loops around two times and fits snugly.
The gauge shouldn’t matter too much, and this pattern would lend itself to many different yarn combos.
