Vallure Sweater
The sweater is worked top-down, starting from the back. The shoulder shaping is first created with short rows, then the back is knitted down to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up from the shoulder edge to knit the front pieces. The left and right fronts are joined at the neck, then worked as one piece down to the underarm, where it is joined with the back to continue knitting the body. Stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline to knit the neckband, completing the sweater.
