ABOUT THE PATTERN
Finished size: if made with a D (3.25mm) hook & worsted
weight yarn, the doll stands 9 1/2 inches (24cm) tall.
Procedure: This doll is crocheted from the feet up, with
arms, ears, hair, and skirt created separately. All rounds
are continuous spirals unless otherwise indicated.
Gauge: tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show
through.
Skill level: CYC Easy to CYC Intermediate.

and look up anything you’re unsure of. You can find
tutorials for every stitch and technique via Google or
YouTube.
Stitches and Techniques Used (All terms US)
MR = magic ring
ch = chain
sk = skip
st = stitch
slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = invisible single crochet increase
dec = invisible single crochet decrease
hdc-inc = 2 half-double crochets in the same st
hdc2tog = half-double 2 sts together
dc-inc = 2 double crochets in the same st
dc2tog = double crochet 2 sts together
BLO = back loop only
FLO = front loop only

Worsted (medium) weight yarn in:
black for the shoes
light blue for the top
burgundy for the skirt
peach for skin tone
white for undergarments
brick for the hair
Embroidery floss in lip-color, black, white, and
metallic gold
Size D (3.25mm) hook
Size G (4.0mm) hook for skirt
Stitch marker
Polyester filling
7.5mm safety eyes (yellow or orange)*
Yarn & Embroidery needles
Beads (see finishing details re jewelry)
8 inches (20cm) of 14G aluminum armature wire
(optional but recommended)
Needle-nosed pliers (if using wire)
White felt (optional)
